Ten technology startups prepare for Silicon Valley trip

An expert jury selected ten startups ready to grow internationally and expand their networks and expertise during the Venture Leaders roadshow to Silicon Valley later this year.

The Venture Leaders Technology 2021 program provides selected startups with a platform to grow their companies by accelerating their expansion into the US market and strengthening their business network through meetings with investors and industry leaders in Silicon Valley.

Out of 135 applications and the jury chose ten startups that best demonstrate the strength of Switzerland’s technology innovation— covering a range of topics such as computer vision, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, logistics, and sustainability. The international investor roadshow to Silicon Valley will take place later this year

The ten Swiss National Team is composed of the following startups

CYSEC│Lausanne – provides ARCA Trusted OS, a software-based solution for protecting containerized applications and workloads on-premise or in the cloud.

Decentriq │Zurich – is an enterprise SaaS platform providing data clean rooms powered by confidential computing to easily and securely leverage data previously not possible.

Exnaton│Zurich – Exnaton’s B2B2C platform PowerQuartier empowers utility companies to establish energy communities for their customers and makes investing in renewable energy easy and fun.

Pick8ship│Wallisellen – developed a revolutionary logistics system for e-commerce: Pick8ship robot fulfilment and delivery allows retailers and logistics service providers to scale e-commerce fulfilment and delivery fast and easily.

Skribble│Zurich – its digital signature solution allows companies to sign any document with just a few clicks in a legally valid way—including contracts that require the written form.

SmartHelio│Lausanne – develops an AI-based cloud platform and edge-computing-based sensor that analyzes critical factors such as shading, connector faults, and wire rust to increase performance and reduce cost.

Synthara│Zurich – is a semiconductor AI company working on a new breed of edge-AI chips that eliminate the trade-off between performance and energy efficiency.

The Food Detective│Geneva – is the unified platform for the restaurant industry, enabling business owners and managers to centralize and manage their entire tech stack (+100 integrations) from a single interface.

Veertly│Rolle – offers a platform for virtual events and digital collaboration. The startup builds bridges to connect and collaborate anywhere with anyone.

xorlab│Zurich – xorlab’s proactive, machine-intelligent SaaS defence platform, ActiveGuard, helps enterprises prevent communication and collaboration-based cyber threats.
