The Swiss Startup Factory accelerator has shifted from incubation of ideas to acceleration of startups, which have already validated their business model and are ready for fast growth. Startups are invited to submit their applications.
After 3 years of experience, the Startup Factory has designed a new accelerator program to focus on later-stage startups for a period of 10-weeks starting May 7 through July 2018.
Organised in three learning parts – product-market-fit, team structuring and strategy and finance –the selected startups will learn about the most relevant startup frameworks in each session and validate them in one-on-one sessions with an experienced team, mentors and industry partners.
The startups will also benefit from more than 50 hours of individual coaching and have the opportunity to select their own program partner from a pool of more than 40 industry mentors and experts. Furthermore, they will get free access to the WestHive co-working space in Zurich and Startup Factory’s network. Events, including the Kick off day and Demo day, will be organised to allow startups to showcase their business ideas in front of investors and like-minded people.
At completion of the accelerator program by passing all milestones, participants will have built a solid foundation for scaling up their startup. The best startups from the program will receive an investment of CHF 25’000.
To be eligible to apply, aspiring startups should have at least Proof-of-concept with a well-functioning MVP, the business model must be scalable and the product should have some sort of intellectual property, and the team must be complementary with a mix of business and technical expertise. Previous startup experience is a plus for the applicant.
Applications may be submitted until 24 April, 2018.
