Tipi.build is a SaaS solution designed to enable over 5 million C and C++ professionals to build software at an unprecedented speed while easing code reuse. Following the successful beta testing, the startup is entering full production with the first customers in the IoT and Automotive industry.

Due to the complex nature of native C and C++ software libraries integration, build configuration and deployment, C and C++ developers lose a lot of time on typical development tasks – a major issue hindering many IoT, Automotive and performance-critical Cloud projects. Zurich-based tipi (formerly nxxm.io) developed a solution to tackle these challenges. Its solution tipi.build is a unique source code-scanning algorithm bundled in an all-in-one solution to reuse, build and deploy native code. The solution reduces costly development time by 20%, increases developers’ output, and turbocharges the development cycle by providing a compiler-as-a-service.

After five months of testing the solution in an open-beta, tipi.build has launched into full production. Benefiting from the feedback of its early customers in the IoT and Automotive industry, tipi co-founders Damien Buhl (CEO) and Yannic Staudt (COO), who started collaborating on tipi.build during the acceleration programs at Venturelab and Bluelion, are ambitioned to make tipi the ideal solution for even the most demanding C and C++ software development projects.

The startup continues to work with its existing customers while adding new ones, and since the beta phase, users have been growing 30% on average month-on-month. To support its further growth and expand its 4-head team, tipi is raising fresh capital in its pre-seed round. The first financing round was closed in 2021 with Serpentine Ventures as the lead investor. Business angels and private investors also participated in the round.
