9T Labs and Flyability join Plug and Play programs

The Plug and Play program provides startups with a platform to meet large corporate companies and initiate dialogue to form partnerships for further development. Plug and Play is one of the largest accelerators with over 60 programs every year in major industries and cities. The program’s ecosystem also includes more than 300 of the world's best venture capitalists, 400 large corporate partners as well as mentors and coaches. Every year, the Plug and Play venture team invest in over 260 startups globally every year with a check of up to USD 500’000.

For the upcoming fall edition 2020, the program welcomes 200 startups from all over the world that will participate in different accelerator programs such as Brands and Retail, Enterprise Tech, Food and Beverages, Media and Ad, New Materials and supply chain. The program takes place at different locations.

The selected Swiss Startups will participate in two program categories;

ETH Zurich spin-off 9T Labs joins New Materials and Packaging program which enables selected participants to work on their materials innovation as they emphasize the materials of the future. The startup aims at delivering industrial-grade continuous carbon fibre 3D-printed composites through the seamless combination of automated software, 3D-printing and post-processing solution. The 3D-printer enables users to print industry-grade lightweight carbon composites, thereby simplifying the use of high-performance materials.

Flyability will participate in the Supply Chain and Logistics accelerator, which offers a 12-week program designed for early and growth-stage startups to build their business and meet major corporate clients. The EPFL spin-off develops industrial drones that can safely reach remote, confined, and inaccessible spaces. Over 300 customers in over 50 countries currently use Flyability’s drones with the common goal of saving costs and sparing lives.
