ROOMZ expands into the UK and Ireland

Founded in 215 by Roger Meier and Patrick Terreaux, SETZA SA, known by its brand name ROOMZ, offers the next generation of wireless room management solutions. The solutions which include ROOMZ Sensor’ and ‘ALSO’ can be easily integrated into a wide variety of systems such as Exchange, Office 365, Google Calendar or IBM Lotus. The highly designed signage works 100% wirelessly and can be integrated via WLAN, seamlessly and at a lower cost, in any office environment. The solution also guarantees a battery life of more than two to four years. Adding the ROOMZ sensor will automatically eliminate ghost meetings and provide analytics on the real use of your spaces such as meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and hot desks.

In Switzerland, the startup has already set a firm foundation with its customers including the ETH Zurich with its 600 meeting rooms and lecture theatres, as well as IMD, Pilatus Aircraft and Zühlke Engineering. Abroad, ROOMZ has attracted customers from the German, Austrian and French markets. By June this year, the company had reached 400 customers across all markets.

ROOMZ is now further expanding its footprints. The startup has signed a distribution partnership with Midwich, a specialist audiovisual (“AV”) distributor to the trade market with operations across the UK and Ireland, Continental Europe and Asia-Pacific. The partnership will enable ROOMZ to bring its solution to the U.K and Ireland.
