uKonect partners with Lee Hecht Harrison

Empowerment of human connections is a central aspect for the uKonect Team. Since its foundation in 2015, the Vaud-based start-up has been providing mobile services that facilitate communication among company workers of multinational companies and association members, regardless of where they are. Through their App – available for iOS and Android devices – uKonect enables its users to meet face-to-face and share their experiences and hence breaking professional isolation.     

Being an international company that could benefit substantially from uKonect’s services, LHH picked interest in the start-up long way before it officially launched the App. The two companies have been in contact since october 2015. Towards the end of June 2016, Caroline Pfeiffer Marinho (country manager Switzerland) and Clement Jaquier and Jordan Mathias of uKonect signed a contract with LHH to officially seal their partnership. Since then, the two companies have been working together to further empower human connection.

The uKonect app will enable the clients of LHH to improve their social interactions within the LHH community, directly extend their network and meet people while they are travelling between different cities and countries. LHH will also benefit from this partnership because it has a strong community that is willing to share their career experiences with one another. This partnership/pilot is valid until December 2016 and is currently deployed in Switzerland as well as in Germany. The startup, however, hopes to expand its services and the app to the global LHH community. This partnership is a foundation for uKonect’s visibility in both the Swiss and global market and will allow for further success.
