Finalists for SGDA Swiss Game Award and Ludicious Award selected

The Game Festival Ludicious is on the horizon. It will start on Thursday 18 September with the award ceremony of the SGDA Swiss Game Award. On Saturday will the ceremony for the international Ludicious Award follow.

The SGDA Swiss Game Award is the first game developers award of Switzerland and celebrates projects that have put the Swiss game industry on the radar. The award honours innovation in form of novel and disruptive ideas in the digital media sector: playable games (all styles, genres and target platforms), services, middlewares, innovative collaborations, cutting-edge marketing ideas, groundbreaking commissioned or advertising productions as well as new collectives.

Two Swiss developers among the finalists of the Ludicious Award
The «International Competition» of the Ludicious festival with the «Ludicious Award» is aimed at game designers with a finished computer game project. The «Ludicious»-Award honours innovative games that explore novel ideas and convince in their execution. It is explicitly aimed at developers and small studios working with equally small budgets. New ideas and approaches in game design, visual style or storytelling are among the criteria. The prize for winning the «Ludicious»-Award is EUR 8000.

Among the eight finalists from around the world are two games from Switzerland.
