The Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) has chosen to support the two start-ups with CHF 50'000 Digital Seed loans. Saporo wants to give organizations the power to anticipate cyber-attacks and Green Future aims to democratise collaboration in the logistics & delivery sector to reduce resource waste.

Saporo improves cyber resistance by prioritizing and reducing user and system access risks

Saporo does the heavy lifting so any business can rapidly improve its security,” says Olivier Eyries, co-founder and CEO of Saporo. “At the moment, defenders are losing the race against cyber attackers. Current methods for testing weaknesses in infrastructure are slow, labour-intensive, and take up too many resources. That’s where Saporo comes in.”

The technology continuously and contextually quantifies the security impact and exploitability of systems configurations. Saporo can then measure how much effort would be required for attackers to compromise resources. This allows organisations to identify and prioritise paths that attackers could take in various attacks like ransomware. Saporo can also help organisations safely move to the cloud and currently supports Microsoft AD and Azure, with AWS, GCP, Okta and IaaS also integrated by the end of this year.

The Digital Seed loan from FIT, together with the support of SPEI, will enable Saporo to accelerate the development of its V2.0 product, improve the UX/UI and file an official patent-request.

Green Future tackles resource waste in the logistics sector

There is much waste of resources in the sector of logistics, often caused by the lack of general information and data. Green Future is building an all-in-one comprehensive, cheap and reliable software and delivery solution for SMEs and producers all around Switzerland. Collaboration is forced by creating win-win situations for actors with complementary needs and resources. The software is currently being used in production at regional level to manage deliveries for approximately 5 drivers and trucks.

In the upcoming months, Green Future plans on scaling the system to be ready for multi-regional level and develop the new revenue stream of commissions on shared deliveries. The Digital Seed loan from FIT will enable the startup to properly and efficiently generate and exploit collected data, with the goals of perfecting its optimization, extracting key features and improvements, and developing its next revenue stream of commissions.
