SalesPlaybook secures EUR 660’000 in seed round

SalesPlaybook has been profitable since the first day of launching its platform, which helps B2B startups boost their sales expertise. After three years of bootstrapping and building a large customer base, it has concluded a seed financing round led by session.vc, raising €660’000. The funds will help the startup to accelerate its expansion into Germany and scale its new Academy offering for scaleups.

Alongside session.vc well-known domain experts and angel investors, including Patrick Trümpi (CSO Unique), Lars Mangelsdorf (Co-Founder & CCO Yokoy) and Julius Göllner (Co-Founder ARRtist), participated in the seed financing round. With this new financial and strategic funding, SalesPlaybook has obtained the resources to accelerate its expansion into the German market, where it generates more than 35% of its revenue from German customers. The funds will also flow into growing the core team by more than 250% by the end of 2022, mainly in Berlin and Munich.

“Startups in the DACH region are great at building tech ventures but not at building and scaling sales, yet sales are the primary value driver, especially for B2B SaaS companies”, says Manuel Hartmann, founder of SalesPlaybook. According to him, strong sales expertise is essential for customer acquisition, raising funding at attractive terms, winning top talent and ensuring that a company does not run out of cash.

At SalesPlaybook, Manuel and his team provide a platform and network of experts to support B2B startups specialising in Software-as-a-solution. The company offers coaching, upskilling and implementation support that helps startups get their business off the ground. The company has already helped more than 200 B2B (SaaS) startups such as Taxfix, Beekeeper, Archlet and Kyan Health to build and scale sales quickly.
