Several exclusive side events, a common Swiss stand: Switzerland is trying to get attention at Slush 2019. In the middle of the action are 15 startups whose participation will be supported by Innosuisse.

With more than 25,000 visitors, Slush, the annual tech conference held in Helsinki in November, has become one of the most important events for startups. Last year around 2,000 investors were looking for start-ups  (including 60 Swiss startups) and more than 10,000 pre-booked meetings between investors and companies took place. For two years now, the Swiss Embassy in Finland has been organising Switzerland's attendance at Slush.

This year, Switzerland will be present again with a common stand, which will give start-ups the opportunity to pitch and provide a point of contact. Additionally, there will be several exclusive side events: a Swiss reception at the Swiss Residence on the eve of Slush, a Swiss Raclette evening and a Swiss breakfast at the Helsinki Bourse Club.

Innosuisse is sponsoring the participation of 15 selected startups at Slush. The companies will obtain slots for the Swiss stand at the conference, which they can use for pitches as well as for discussions with potential partners and investors. Startups will also have the opportunity to pitch at the side events or to introduce themselves directly to investors.

The 15 selected startups are:
