Did you know that Switzerland is the 1st country in Europe to dedicate an entire day to foster dialogue about the digitalization across economy, science, politics, academia & the public? IMD Business School in Lausanne explained more in a tweet posted this morning

All over Switzerland, people havec spoken about topics such as digital transformation, education, robotics, augmented reality or artificial intelligence. And Swiss start-ups are at the heart of these discussions.

Startups driving conversations

At the Sion train station for example, startups explored health in the digital age. The public was invited in a tweet by the Fondation The Ark to test the simulation of medical interventions in extreme environments with the virtual reality headset of the Transcend start-up! Scale-up DomoSafety, the leading provider of behavior-based and medical data analytics in real-time to deliver preventive and proactive services to health professionals was also showcasing in Sion.

All over Switzerland, Thymio, the small educational robot that allows you to discover the world of robotics, made the buzz. More than 40’000 have been sold all over the world and the little robot produced by Mobsya is showing the way in educational technology and computational thinking.

Digital Transformation would not be possible without cybersecurity. The event organized today in Yverdon by the HEIG-VD’s y-security competence center proved highly successful, gathering a full house of participants this morning. Six cybersecurity start-ups were showcased: Netguardians, OneVisage, Cyberheaven, ARCATrust, Adeya and Sysmosoft. All were active also on Twitter.
