Six start-ups will pitch at the 5th Investor Forum St. Gallen next week: XPONIA, Alterniity, happyBello.com, Heat’n’Eat, Swiss Medendi and Peripal.

Next Tuesday the 5th Investor forum St. Gallen will take place. For the event the regional support organisation STARTFELD teams up with CTI Invest. This time six start-ups will pitch to investors:

XPONIA provides a digital mobile tour guide for museums. The solution is developed for smartphones to transform the museum visit into a multi-media experience. Thanks to iBeacons, visitors are guided through the exhibition without the need for unsightly arrows or signs. XPONIA offers museums the comprehensive technology-driven product together with a full service-package.

Alterniity is an Augmented Reality based early diagnostic technology for older people at risk of dementia, especially Alzheimer’s disease. The scientific team leading this MedTech worked alongside ARTORG Centre for Biomedical Engineering Research of the University of Bern and is armed with 11 years of EU funded clinical trials for the development of this technology.

HappyBello.com is an online booking platform for dog-friendly hotels and holiday homes in Europe, which in contrast to the existing booking portals offers accommodation which fully meet the individual needs of dog owners. The company happy bello was founded in 2013. The platform includes hotels and hilday homes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Slovenia.

The unique Heat’n’Eat Lunchbox revolutionizes existing eating habits by combining mobility, heat, and convenience in an ingenious manner. The box allows to enjoy a warm, healthy, and delicious meal anywhere and anytime. Heat’n’Eat was founded by Fabian Graf and Pascal Mogy in 2012.

Swiss Medendi has developed the HC100, an innovative and safe IV infusion device that substantially changes how vesicant and irritant drugs such as chemotherapy will be infused by utilizing a proprietary patented technology. Swiss Medendi was found in 2012 and has won important awards such as the award of the W.A. de Vigier Foundation.

Peripal AG is a privately funded start-up from the ETH Zürich focusing on patient aids for home care patients in the field of dialysis. The vision of Peripal is to allow patients to be treated at home and to contribute to lower healthcare costs. Its mission is to develop and market support devices that enable more patients worldwide to be treated in their homes and to be treated more safely.
