Another important award for Dacuda

For already 20 years the HEC Centre Entreprise of the University of Lausanne awards the Prix Strategis to innovative Swiss startups. The list of the previous winners is impressive: LeShop, Poken, Housetrip etc. The competition 2012 was the first that was open to start-ups from all over Switzerland.
 
The award 2012 goes to a well-known company from Zurich: Dacuda. According to the jury Dacuda has shown exemplarily how to implement a clear and consistent strategy to successfully market its innovative scanning technology. The award includes prize money of CHF 50.000.
 
Dacuda stands for an always-at-hand and easy to use scanning process that closes the gap between digital and printed information. At the moment the technology is used for a revolutionary scanner computer mice, but the start-up is working on other very promising applications e.g. for smartphones.
 
Dacuda had already won some awards. Two weeks ago founder and President Alexander Ilic was elected Entrepreneur of the year. In addition the company was supported by several initiatives like the Swiss government’s innovation promotion agency CTI, ETH Transfer, Venture Lab, and the MIT Venture Mentoring Service.
