After its series A round, amnis is accelerating its expansion into new European markets. After Amsterdam, the startup recently opened a new office in Slovakia to ease international banking for SMEs in those regions.

Amnis Treasury AG offers an all-in-one platform allowing SMEs to strategize and execute international payments, collect money, and exchange currencies. In addition to currency exchange and cross-border and local payments, amnis’ clients can make free, real-time transfers around the clock to suppliers overseas within their own PEER network.

To facilitate SMEs’ international business even further, amnis recently launched a business account that enables companies to receive payments in 20+ currencies with virtual IBAN accounts in their own name. Thanks to the successful financing round, amnis will add more services to its portfolio by the end of 2022, including invoicing, debit cards and E-commerce solutions.

During the last 12 months, the company entered five new countries, opened three additional offices and tripled the size of its team. Continuing its growth trajectory, the fintech startup now started business in Slovakia and Netherlands with a new office in Amsterdam to bring global transaction banking to Dutch SMEs. The local team will support Dutch SMEs in optimizing and simplifying their international payments and foreign exchange. With Lars de Zeeuw, Country Manager of the Benelux market, amnis has gained a treasury specialist with proven expertise in the banking industry.

“I am very excited to start at amnis. The company is a solid Swiss-based firm and transparency is key in their behavior towards customers. Furthermore, the platform is easy to work with and offers everything you need for your international banking – at the lowest cost. We are always looking for the best solution for our clients. Therefore, we have experienced people in every country who know the markets and are keen to help SMEs find a solution for the problems they will encounter in the international payment industry these days”, says Lars de Zeeuw, Country Manager Benelux.
