Startupticker usually reports on successful start-ups. Swisspreneur runs a podcast with background interviews. But in these times of increasingly difficult financing, both are expanding their offer in a joint project that will present start-ups looking for investors. Start-ups can register now for the project.

Start-ups looking for money don’t find it easy in uncertain times, but many Swiss investors have funds accumulated over recent years waiting for the right investment. And as many other venture investments are still unattractive, investors with a long view are still active. That is why startupticker and Swisspreneur are now offering a platform to start-ups looking for venture capital. Each week for 10 weeks, we will introduce a start-up with an article on startupticker and a podcast on Swisspreneur.

A company must be officially founded and have already reached its first milestones; these include pilot projects with customers, grants, awards, positive feedback abroad and meaningful data in the case of life sciences companies. We are looking for companies that are innovative and ambitious, and which have the potential to create jobs with high added value.

Interested companies can apply now by completing the questionnaire on Typeform and uploading a pitch deck. The selection is made by the editorial teams of startupticker and Swisspreneur, supported by a small but extremely competent Advisory Board with Bettina Ernst (entrepreneur, investor, life sciences expert) and Gian Reto à Porta (serial entrepreneur, investor, IT and fintech expert).

The first start-up has already been selected and will be presented next week. In total, we will introduce 10 companies over 10 weeks in the first phase, and then the project will be evaluated.
