Technis Stop and Go System

Close to 200 “Stop&Go” digital terminals are being produced this week by Swiss startup Technis to help retail outlets and public institutions comply with Covid19 health and social distancing regulations in Europe. Doubling its production every week, the company led by Wiktor Bourée experiences unprecedented growth and market success.

The solution developed by the Swiss startup Technis for complying with health regulations has met with unprecedented success. Dozens of digital terminals have already been deployed in several European countries, enabling public institutions to regulate their visitors in real time. Shops and other public places can thus enforce the maximum number of authorized persons in an automated and reassuring manner.

Installed in less than 15 minutes at the entrance of a building, the new system consists of a counting belt and a "Stop&Go" dynamic display. A threshold limit of people not to be exceeded is set in the Technis application, allowing visitors to be automatically put on hold if the capacity is reached.

To date, Technis is the only company providing a ground-based counting system coupled with a digital terminal. The Vaud startup differentiates itself first and foremost by the accuracy of its system. It also able to offer a global service. For example, the “Stop&Go” terminal can integrate displays for hydroalcoholic gels, display prevention messages on the current health situation, or even become a long-term marketing tool to engage with visitors. The turnkey aspect of the solution is crucial.

Orders keep on coming

Over the past few weeks, orders have been pouring in, fully mobilising the startup's twenty or so employees. A turning point for the young CEO of Technis, Wiktor Bourée: "Today we produce in one day the equivalent of a month's work before the crisis! For companies, this is an accessible, turnkey solution whose technology has proven itself since our products have been in use for several years. Our system makes it possible to avoid placing a security agent in front of each entrance, offering an efficient and economical solution to our customers. »

Dozens of digital counters are currently being tested in supermarkets, shops, head offices, company restaurants and sports halls in several European countries, including Switzerland and France.

In this period of crisis, Technis has had to review its supply chain by prioritizing European suppliers. All its products are fully assembled in Switzerland. The company will soon start a recruitment process to meet the strong demand, and is already working on new applications to ensure the continued use of its digital dynamic display with its new customers. The current success rewards a team who was able to react very quickly, creating in a few weeks only a reliable interactive solution.
