CES Asia: 22 Startups join the delegation for the Swiss Pavilion

Swiss startup delegation CES Asia 2018

From the 11th to the 13th of June, 22 startups will occupy the Swiss Pavilion at CES Asia in Shanghai. The startups will have the opportunity to showcase #Swisstech innovation to the Asian market, expand their network, attract potential partners and investors as well as increase their visibility in the Asian market. Represented technologies span from Artificial intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Robotics, Drones to Blockchain and Music.

Swissnex China together with its partners have organized the Swiss Pavilion at the CES Asia, to provide Swiss startups and organizations a dedicated area to present their #SWISSTECH inventions to the visitors at the trade show. CEA Asia is a premier event for the consumer electronics industry, showcasing the latest innovation.

With over 46’000 visitors and 500 exhibiting companies, the participating Swiss startups will have the opportunity to be part of a large community comprising some of the largest market players in the consumer technology industry. The tradeshow also offers an ideal platform to forge partnerships, attract investors and global customers as well as increase their visibility in the Asian market. Swissnex China and the partners have additionally organized an exclusive pitching event to be held with multi-billion dollar investors.

Twenty-one startups will join the 2019 Swiss delegation to Shanghai. The startups provide solutions spanning from the fields of Artificial intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Robotics, Drones to Blockchain and Music.

  • SOMNIACS (Virtual reality) – Next-Generation VR immerse experience

  • Spectroplast (IoT) –  3D-printing of Silico

  • Tombooks (Music) – Smart audio technology for musician

The 300 squared meters #SwissTech Pavilion is primely located within the Startup Park, where the budding startups’ market-ready innovations for tomorrow will be prominently displayed for potential clients, partners and investors. A stage lies at the heart of the pavilion, where the products will be showcased every day along with pitch decks from the startups.

The 3-day participation of the Swiss startup team at CES ASIA will also feature a pitching night and networking reception on June 12 with prospective investors and industry experts, providing the startups with the unique opportunity to connect with a network of potential local partners to facilitate their market entry ambitions in the world’s fastest growing innovation market.
