Swiss proptech solutions at Expo Real in Munich

Expo real is Europe’s largest B2B fair for the real estate industry with over 40’000 participants and 2000 exhibitors. The jury of the Real Estate Innovation Network contest has selected 25 startups; including five from Switzerland, to present at the finale at the Expo.

The annual three-day event, EXPO Real, brings together players from the entire real estate supply chain on a 64,000 square meters of exhibition area in Munich to explore the latest trends and innovations of the property, investment and financial markets. More than 100 conferences and panel discussions with over 400 industry experts will be held. The Expo takes place from Octber 8-10, 2018.

For the second time, the Real Estate Innovation Network (REIN) contest will take place at EXPO Real. REIN is an Open Innovation Platform that enables the exchange of information between tech startups, established companies, industry experts and investors in the context of the ongoing digital transformation of the real estate industry.

The contest received 460 applied out of which the jury of over 50 international industry experts selected the 55 best concepts and ideas for the pre-pitch. Only 25 were selected for the final round to present their solutions to the audience at the Expo in October.  The following categories are reprensented: Invest, Market, Plan & Build, Work & Manage , Operate as well as a new category Smart Cities & Urbanization.

The Swiss finalists include;

PriceHubble – offers online real estate valuations and digital portfolio evaluations based on Big Data from 150 data sources and machine learning.

Carbon Delta – specializes in identifying and analysing the climate change resilience of publicly traded companies. – provides an end-to-end solution for real estate fund managers to tokenize their fund, issue their own real estate tokens in form of crypto securities and access to a large pool of retail and institutional investors.

Archilyse AG – the ETH spin off developed an advanced technology to quantify architectural qualities and process them with state of the art machine learning.

Loriot AG – developed and commercialises LoRaWAN technology, an energy-efficient and comprehensive communications protocol. Loriot’s products facilitate the gathering and forwarding of sensor data on a platform protected by banking-grade security.
