Switzerland is an innovative and open economy – today also start-ups can benefit from this. More and more start-up programmes and competitions are open for companies from abroad. Several deadlines are coming close.

In startup competitions, participants can win cash to finance their business, support to accelerate their development, or both. In Switzerland, organisations have scheduled competitions for which startups from abroad can apply too. The following registration deadlines will soon expire.

Kickstart Accelerator, – Aspiring startups can apply for four verticals: FinTech & Crypto, Food & Retail Tech and Smart Cities & Infrastructure and EdTech & Learning. The jury will select 30 startups and intrapreneur teams focusing on deep technologies such as AI, Big Data, Blockchain and Robotics to develop their ideas with coaches and its partners. Blockchain Competition, 31.05.2018 – The Competition offers startups and teams working at Blockchain applications for finance and real estate the opportunity to win cash and access to industry executives, coaching and free office space in the Crypto Valley Labs Genesis Hub in Zug. Two winners will each receive $100 000.

Agri & Co Challenge 31.05.2018– Up to 15 startups in the field of Agriculture, Food or Biomass will compete for a prize of 500 000 Swiss francs alongside several other benefits. Aspirants can submit their applications in one of the two programs: “Relocation Program” or the “Remote Collaboration Program".

International Create Challenge, 26.05.2018 - The 7th edition of the International Create Challenge is looking for new ideas in the fields of Artificial intelligence. A cash prize of CHF 15’000 awaits the winning teams.
