10 Swiss innovative startups win the first edition of venture leaders China

Venturelab announced the names of the 10 young, promising entrepreneurs selected to integrate the team of venture leaders China 2014, first edition. The 10 selected entrepreneurs will travel to Shanghai and Beijing in September to boost their understanding and penetration of the Chinese market.

For Swiss startups, China is a key market to explore. With growing opportunities and exciting market prospects, as well as the necessity to strengthen the visibility of Swiss high tech in China, launched its first edition of the venture leaders China. The prize offers to 10 carefully selected high potential Swiss startups a 10-day market exploration and business development journey in Shanghai and Beijing, extending the program’s exposure in rising entrepreneurial hubs.

 

New market opportunities
Inspired by 13 years of success with the venture leaders USA program, venturelab decided to expand its offer and give new market opportunities to the most innovative Swiss startups. "No entrepreneur can ignore Asia anymore, especially at a time when China and other countries' economic growth shift to an innovation-driven model. Increasing the visibility of Swiss high-tech startups in the Chinese market
The selected team encompasses a large array of high-tech startups with activities ranging from a solution to better consume energy to a unique fiber technology. Together they represent a great display of the Swiss innovation potential, which will be made visible through multiple events in China.
