Sensima, a young sensor company based in Lausanne, has started its Series B financing round. All Series A investors have already reinvested. Now the company has decided to leave the round open for additional new investors.

Sensima Technology has developed a breakthrough technology for magnetic sensors. Founded in 2008, as a spin-off from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Sensima has evolved from a technology licensor to an independent sensor manufacturer. Their angular sensors enable better control and higher energy efficiencies in a broad range of applications in automotive and industry.

Since its Series A financing a year ago, Sensima achieved key milestones: they validated the market demand, further enhanced their products and received initial volume orders.

The Series B funding will enable Sensima to maintain its high pace of development and scale its production channels to serve increasing customer demand.

All Series A investors have reinvested in Series B. They are from the Go Beyond Investing network and include individual investors and families. Due to requests and to fuel international expansion Sensima Technology has decided to leave the Series B open for the next weeks for new potential investors.
