AgroSustain at the Startup Corner

The Swiss Food Research is offering Food startups the opportunity to showcase their innovations to an audience of more than 350 people at the Brennpunkt Nahrung conference. Registration is now open until 12 April.

The Brennpunkt Nahrung specialist conference provides a platform to experts from Business, authorities, science and academia as well as decision-makers along the entire value creation chain in the Swiss agricultural and food industries to share their knowledge and experience. The 5th edition under the motto: «Consumers in Focus» will take place on 5 November in Luzern.

For startups, the conference offers the opportunity to present their innovations, meet and exchange with like-minded people in the industry. Last year, six startups among them AgroSustain, Yamo, Alver and SwissDeCode participated at the exhibition in the Start-up Innovation Corner and pitched to the audience.

“We have been at the Start-Up Pitch since 2017. We have made very interesting contacts with food companies that became our customers, and even a new hire. We came back in 2018 and look forward to 2019!” commented Gianpaolo Rando, Co-Founder of SwissDecode.

This year again, food startups will have the chance to join the Start-up Innovation Corner. Swiss Food Research which organizes a series of events and supports activities for the Swiss Agriculture and Food industry together with scienceindustries invite startups to register to benefit from a wide range of offers including a dedicated stand in the exhibition area, access to a high-quality network within the agricultural and food industry and media visibility. The startups will additionally have the chance to participate in the Start-Up pitch in the plenum.

Eligible to apply are food startups that are younger than five years. Registration closes on April 12, 2019.
