Digital Health Hub Opening

Today, Biopôle has inaugurated a new innovation center, the Digital Health Hub. The center addresses the growing demand for a forum to accelerate the development of patient-focused digital solutions.

The Digital Health Hub, which officially opened its doors today, brings together leading companies, service providers, startups such as biowatch, Deep Cube and Zenum as well as renowned experts from EPFL, CHUV, Nestlé Health Science, Swisscom Health, Vaudoise Assurances and the Canton of Vaud.

Currently, the Hub – located in Epalinges, north of Lausanne – is able to host a maximum of 20 companies – a third of this capacity has already been reached. Biopôle is currently constructing additional buildings, which will be completed in 2020 and 2021. The Digital Health Hub will then be able to accommodate a larger number of companies, organizations and projects.

«Our vision is to become a world-renowned center of excellence for developing digital health solutions, accelerating projects and disseminating knowledge to patients», says Nasri Nahas , CEO of Biopôle (picture: first on the right).
