The Game Developers Conference (GDC) begins today until 23 march in San Francisco. More than 24 games studios from Switzerland are attending the Game Connection and European Game Showcase this year, making it the largest Swiss delegation at GDC.

Hosted by Pro Helvetia and swissnex San Francisco, the Swiss Games area at GDC presents a selection of games and technologies developed by 18 independent studios and start-ups. 13 studios are joining the Matchmaking Event Game Connection America and 3 game studios are representing Switzerland at the European Game Showcase. Other studios will show or talk about their projects at Unity 3D Art Challenge, Double Fine showcases or at the GDC conference.

The Swiss Games selection reflects the diversity of this developing industry in Switzerland. It includes games with innovative design for every platform, as well as ground-breaking technologies.
