Swissgames.ch is a brand new online platform offering a window to the dynamic Swiss game industry for both, the global industry and the general audience.
SWISSGAMES is an initiative designed to promote the Swiss game cluster inland and abroad. Its core mission is to help Swiss developers gain visibility, build relationships with the international game industry and access global markets.
Under the SWISSGAMES umbrella label, are already Swiss participations in more than 20 events per year organized or supported. The main SWISSGAMES delegations go to Gamescom, GDC, Nordic Game Conference as well as Game Connection America and Europe. Upon request, Swiss individual or collective presence in other events is financially supported. Moreover, SWISSGAMES supports Swiss events – such as festivals, conferences, game jams – which share the will to boost the Swiss games scene.
The new website swissgames.ch serves as a tool for the games cluster in Switzerland by centralizing information on support opportunities and promotional activities. It includes latest news, an event calendar, calls for Swissgames delegations and calls for projects as well as information about important players in the industry.
SWISSGAMES is initiated by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia. Main partners are the Swiss Game Developers Association, the Swiss Chapter of the International Game Developers Association, Swissnex San Francisco, Ludicious – Zurich Game Festival, Zurich University of the Arts, HEAD-Geneva, ECAL and ETH Zurich.
