DAHU closes another round of financing to sustain its growth

After a 2015-16 winter season during which the company recorded sales growth of over 60% and won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro international design prize, DAHU finished 2016 by closing additional financing, being over-subscribed with current shareholders and new investors.

2016 was a prolific year for DAHU Sports Company. At the end of the year DAHU was able to close another financing round. With this behind, the company is already preparing its future, with the final round of financing that should be concluded in 2017. The goal is to accelerate the growth, based on three lines of business: the development of the brand outside Europe with launches planned in the North American and Asian markets; the rollout of a large-scale communication plan aiming at increasing brand awareness with the general public; and finally the launch of new business models which will change the ski boot industry as we know it, especially in terms of boot rentals, an area in where the company is working on very ambitious projects.

In the shorter term, DAHU has presented its new 2017-18 collection at ISPO Munich and has done the same in Beijing. Five new models will expand the range in order to satisfy skiers of all levels and ladies who will certainly be the most fulfilled with very specific products for them.
