Blockchain Invest, founded by pioneers of cryptocurrencies investments, acquires around 500.000 BitCrystals, tradable digital assets which act as the game-fuel and premium currency in the games of EverdreamSoft. The transaction is worth about USD100’000. The funds will be used for the further development of EverdreamSoft's game Spells of Genesis.
EverdreamSoft (EDS) and Blockchain Invest DAC announce their partnership starting with an acquisition of around half million BitCrystals (BCY) in order to support further development of Spells of Genesis (SoG) and the achievement of the project’s next milestones, including the global launch.
The interesting aspect is that the investor did not buy equity shares, but acquire an important amount of the game economy: Bitcrystals, a crypto-currency similar to bitcoin. Bitcrystals are used by players to acquire blockchain-based cards that are powerful in the game Spells of Genesis. If the game has a success, the value of Bitcrystals will augment and bring return to the investors. Bitcrystals is currently traded in 3 exchange platforms for blockchain crypto-currencies
