Six Swiss Fintech Startups in the Top 100 European Fintech Award

Last week, the determination of the Top 100 European Fintech startups was left in the hands of the jury and the audience from Europe. The Top 100 list has been published and among the selected companies are six Swiss startups with Knip and NetGuardians in the top three of their categories. They will pitch at the European FinTech Awards & Conference in Amsterdam on the 14th of April.

With over 60,000 public votes from all over Europe and a knowledgeable panel of judges with FinTech experts - consisting of experienced FinTech investors, innovation leads of Europe's top banks and FinTech visionaries – the selection process of the European Fintech Award was unique. Among the most promising European FinTech companies are six Swiss startups namely:

DealMarket, is the World's #1 Private Equity & Deal Flow Management Platform. It was one of the very early businesses investing in online deal flow management solutions.

eWise, a leading international provider of Personal Financial Management (PFM) and Account Aggregation solutions.

Qumram, a software company that allows users to record online information, communication flows, interactions and transactions through various media channels in accordance with the existing legal provisions and archive.

Monetas, the cutting-edge Monetas platform is a combination of cryptofinance technologies working together to enable any type of transaction to be conducted instantly, privately, and securely.

Knip, an innovative digital Insurance Manager that allows its users easily to understand tariffs and services of insurance companies. In addition, the app automatically recognizes individual saving spots and offers them options necessary to optimize the insurance benefits.

Netguardians, offers the reliability of long expertise in fraud solutions especially for banks. Their FraudGuardian solution is based on smart behavioural analysis software that uses policy rules and predictive analysis.

The 3 best companies within each category of the Fintech 100 have the opportunity to pitch at the European FinTech Awards & Conference. Two Swiss startups, Knip and NetGuardians have been selected among the top three in the category InsurTech and Risk (Knip), Intelligence and Security (NetGuardians) respectively. The pitches will determine the best European FinTech companies within each category and, ultimately there will be one overall winner.

The first European FinTech Awards & Conference provides delegates with a holistic view of what is happening in the European FinTech space given the wide diversity of nationalities of European top FinTech investors, innovation heads and FinTech CEO’s. These FinTech experts will participate in thought-provoking panel discussions about trending FinTech topics such as PSD2, blockchain and robo advisory. These panel discussions alternate with captivating pitches of the best European FinTech companies.
