Aspire Launches AMPlify 2016: Registration is now open

AMPlify, the “Aspire Accelerator and Mentorship Program” is a 3 month program run by the Aspire team with Helen Gillholm as Program Manager. It consists of four modules conducted by specialists with assorted expertise in the fields of design, branding, funding among others. 

The main objective of the AMPlify program is to support entrepreneurs in building meaningful networks for their business ideas, to share knowledge, create opportunities, connections, and confidence and raise the entrepreneurs’ profiles. Also, Aspire aims at helping entrepreneurs move forward with their early stage business ideas and assist them with meeting their own goals and objectives.

The Aspire team and personal mentors will be assigned to each of the ten nominated participants to follow their progress and support them throughout the program. This is to ensure that they are on track whilst preparing them for the final pitch event. Upon successful conclusion of the program, mentees will be invited to join the AMPlify Alumni network and future pitching events as well as participate as mentors.

To be eligible to participate in the program you must be a female entrepreneur with a scalable early stage business idea in the field of Innovation and Technology, living in Switzerland and able to fully commit to the program. 

Reflecting on AMPlify 2015
Dhruv Parekh of Aspire expressed his contentment about the program remarking that, “We successfully launched and completed the program in 2015 with mentees pitching their ideas in the final event of the series called The Final Pitch and with two of our mentees successfully raising capital for their ideas through seed and crowdfunding.” As a result of this success Aspire seeks to further support female entrepreneurs from across Switzerland by providing them necessary resources to accelerate the process of starting their ventures. Further he went on to say “Since the founding of Aspire in 2014 we have discovered an opportunity to provide women with a platform to expose their ideas and themselves. Not only do we work with their ideas but we work with their self-confidence and self-awareness to build their overall skillset.”

Dhruv explained why AMPlify is referred to as an accelerator program. He says, “The program this year is more of an "accelerator" in nature because we are able to train our mentees in a shorter span of time so that they can continue the momentum of scaling their idea once the program is completed.”

He further says, “On behalf of the Aspire team we are very excited about AMPlify 2016 and looking forward to working with innovative business ideas. We will take business plans, challenge their assumptions and add workshop theory and practical experience to their training in order to scale their ideas. It is an excellent opportunity for any woman in Switzerland”
