At the Wearable Technology Show held last week in London the Best Medical Wearable award was presented to Biovotion for its continuous, non-invasive physiological monitoring platform.
"The Wearables Awards find and recognise those companies with the best – and most improved - product or service offering in the past 12 months,” said John Weir, COO, Evolve, organisers of the Wearable Technology Show.
“In addition to shining a light on the best products, they also reward the best wearable businesses, recognising those that have offered the highest level of innovation, performance and service over the past year. The level of this year’s entrants was outstanding. It was a hard fought battle and our winners really are the crème de la crème of the wearables industry.”
The Wearables are the leading awards in the wearables market. Now in their second year, the eight category winners were unveiled at the Wearable Technology Show held last week in London. The Show is the world’s biggest dedicated wearables event with nearly 4’000 attendees, 108 companies exhibiting and numerous media professionals reporting from London this year.
Best Medical Wearable was presented to Biovotion, a Swiss-based medical device company providing solutions for continuous, non-invasive physiological monitoring. With Hocoma another Swiss company is among the winners. With its back pain therapy app Valedo Hocoma won Best App, took the runner’s up place for Best Medical Wearable and came third in the battle for Overall Wearable Winner.
