The 7th edition of the Swiss Games Awards will take place online on 1. Juli 2020 within the framework of «Ludicious X». The jury has nominated six game-developers to the competition finals. The finalists comprise of established studios and up-and-coming talents offering interactive animation, multiplayer and simulation games.
Organised by the Swiss Game Developers Association, the Swiss Games Awards recognises outstanding games in Switzerland. This year six games made it to the final round, and the award ceremony will be held online as part of the Lucious X festival on 1st July.
The finalists are:
KIDS, Playables – a short interactive animation game in which a player can move with and against crowds until everyone is gone
Nimbatus: The Space Drone Constructor, Stray Fawn Studio – As the Captain of the Nimbatus the mission is to gather as much information about the universe as possible and reach its far end.
Stellar Commanders, Blindflug Studios – a fast paces multiple-player real-time strategy game
To Be Headed Or Not To Be, Fruits of Yggdrasil Studio – a cooperative only escape-room game.
Transport Fever 2, Urban Games – is a transport simulation in which players are required to provide the world with the necessary transport infrastructure and make a fortune with tailor-made transport services.
Unrailed!, Indoor Astronaut – is a cooperative rogue-like multiplayer game where players have to work together with their friends to build a railway track across endless procedurally generated worlds.
