Emerald Technology Ventures attracts additional strategic commitments from SHV Energy, Heraeus, Bekaert & SCG.

Four new companies have joined Emerald’s evergreen fund in quick succession. With their commitment, the companies join a growing Limited Partner base comprising leading industrial multinational corporations in Europe, North America and Asia who are committed to open innovation.

  • SHV Energy is a family-owned multinational organisation that consists of a group of specialised energy companies. Today, SHV Energy are servicing the needs of over 30 million customers over three continents that use their energy for hundreds of applications.
  • Heraeus combines businesses in the environmental, energy, electronics, health, mobility and industrial applications sectors. In the 2017 financial year, Heraeus generated revenues of €21.8 billion. 
  • Bekaert is a world market and technology leader in steel wire transformation and coating technologies. The global company has almost 30 000 employees worldwide, headquarters in Belgium and € 4.8 billion in annual revenue.
  • SCG is a leading business conglomerate in the ASEAN region. The group has more than 50’000 employees and generated revenuts of more than $10bn in 2017.
