Forum EPFL is the largest recruitment fair in Switzerland. One of the four days of the event is dedicated to Start-ups. Registration for young companies is now open.
The Forum EPFL is an occasion for the new graduates and PhD to discover the expectancies of work market. They can find out more about the companies looking for highly qualified engineers. Undergraduate students have also the opportunity to look for internships and general information on the world of business in order to better plan their future.
This year the Forum EPFL is celebrating its 31st edition. This event has built itself a place among the biggest recruiting fairs in Europe. In 2012 650 students registered for the Forum.
Like last year one day of the event is the Forum EPFL Start-up Day which will take place on 11 October on the campus of EPF Lausanne. Start-ups can now register. At the event every start-up registered will have a table and 2 chairs, a poster with the name of the Start-up, electric sockets and Wifi.
A new element of the day is a pitch contest. The Forum EPFL and HEC-Espace-Entreprise are brought together to organize the Start-up pitch contest based on the famous Startegis prize. A jury mainly formed by major actors in the Start-up world will reward the most convincing one of 15 preselected Start-ups.
