ViboTec creates virtual advertising banners during live sports events (“virtuelle Bandenwerbung”). Thus, scarce physical advertising space can be marketed multiple times because it is possible to broadcast different content to different regions of the world. The company was founded by an experienced team. CEO Marc Pfister was Managing Director of Swisscurling and worked for several IT companies including Swisscom. COO Daniel Kuss occupied management positions at FIS Marketing and co-founder Felix Welling worked more than ten years for VfL Wolfsburg.

The Swiss company based in the Canton of Bern is the exclusive rights holder of the system for virtual LED perimeter board technology developed by Fraunhofer. The Fraunhofer Tech Transfer Fund, jointly founded by the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the German Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as part of the European Commission's InnovFin program, has acquired a stake in the young Swiss high-tech company. Kellerhals Carrard advised ViboTec and its shareholders in the transaction.

ViboTecs system combines a proven process with newly developed AI technology and state-of-the-art media techniques. According to the company is the only system performing perfectly well under all weather conditions (rain, snow, fog, smoke) and even ground reflections are virtually replaced.
