#SwissTech at CES 2019: For our press review, we collected articles from Swiss and international media mentioning the Swiss start-ups in Las Vegas. Continental: Seamless Mobility Combines Autonomous Shuttles and Delivery Robots

At CES 2019, Continental demonstrates a seamless approach to goods delivery with the help of delivery robots and driverless vehicles. Continental’s driverless vehicle called CUbE can carry one or multiple delivery robots and deploy them to handle the last yards of the goods and parcel delivery logistics chain. In Las Vegas Continental showed delivery robots developed by ETH Zurich spin-off ANYbotics. The demonstration caused a stir in social as well as in traditional media. A picture of Anybotics’ robot Anymal made it for example to the frontpage of FAZ.net

Germany automotive firm Continental is best know for its tires, but at CES 2019 the company is demonstrating something a little different: package delivery by robot dog. As part of its research into the future of mobility, Continental has partnered with robotics company ANYbotics (a spin off from ETH Zurich) to imagine the future of package delivery.
