The aim of the course is to make social enterprises ready for impact investments through coaching and a supplementing online library. A discovery session on 10 January will provide start-ups with more information.

The Impact Academy offers impact start-ups targeted support in crucial areas of the growth phase of a social business. The Academy consists of two main elements:

  • The coaching is a 6-month program where social entrepreneurs (coachees) and experienced corporate senior managers (coaches) are matched. The pairs work together on a specific defined task according to the needs of the social entrepreneur and the skills of the senior level manager.
  • Implementation of a toolkit and library to deepen the knowledge of the caochess on various topics around impact investing.

This program is for social businesses in the growth phase, so at least a proof-of-concept is required to be accepted to the Academy. After registration Seif will assess the stage of the business and decide on the admission to the Academy.

The organisers emphasise that the Impact Academy is not a financing program and participants will not be allowed to ask for funding support from their mentors.

At a discovery session on 10 January start-ups can discover what the new Impact Academy is all about and how this program can support them in growing their social business.
