Relish Brothers closed a financing round recently. The raised capital will be used to finance international growth.

Relish Brothers AG has recently raised over $3 million to revolutionize the electrical guitar market. Investors are diversified among some Swiss business angels, Swiss banks, and a strategic partner which specializes in high-end manufacturing and has vast distribution expertise. Relish has developed an innovative approach to electric guitar production resulting in 300% yearly sales growth and production volume of over 1’000 Swiss made guitars since their foundation in 2013.

First innovation in 70 years
The $1.2 billion electric guitar export market has seen essentially no real innovation over the last 70 years. The global market of low-end instruments decreased over 1/3 within the last 5 years (Music Trades data USA). Conversely, the premium guitar market has grown globally. Relish entered a traditional market with a completely new electric guitar concept.

To compete in a global market Relish has implemented a lean production system with one-piece-flow working stations in addition to investing in their new manufacturing facility located in Sempach Station, Switzerland. The efficiency in building premium quality guitars, along with the possibility to customize your personal guitar plus groundbreaking innovations, allows Relish to successfully distribute their guitars worldwide. The Relish Brothers Team brought over 550 guitars into the market in 2017.

The incorporated Relish Brothers & Co-Founders, Pirmin Giger & Silvan Küng, are two 33 year old Swiss friends, musicians and entrepreneurs who dedicated themselves to bringing new inspiring aspects into the electric guitar realm. Pirmin Giger is responsible for Product Development, Production & Design and Silvan Küng for Business Development, Marketing & Sales.
