Application open for venture leaders
The venture leaders have a clearcut goal. They envision themselves as global players and see the US market as the first step to their global expansion. The ten-day venturelab business development program in Boston and New York is specifically structured to help them achieve this goal. Application for the 2014 venture leaders program is now open.
Each year more than 100 startups apply to participate in this unique program. 40 of these companies are invited to pitch in front of a jury of experts. Only the top 20 are then selected to join the Swiss national startup team and benefit from venturelab’s high-caliber training and unique network. Startups like InSphero, GetYourGuide, Qvanteq and Aleva Neurotherapeutics all beneficiated from the venture leaders program and have since secured major contracts with strategic partners and investors as well as greatly expanded their customers base.
During the high paced ten day business development trip, members of the team present their project numerous times to of wide array of investors and industry experts. They also get to meet many U.S. startup founders to share experiences and build a unique network of relationships. Highlights include a reception at the Swiss consul with numerous venture capitalists as well as a pitching competition in front of several hundred people from the U.S. startup scene.
High potential entrepreneurs can now apply for the 2014 venture leaders program. Application deadline is 2 March.
