News from Lift14 and a "Last Chance Discount"

The 9th edition of Lift connects inspiring speakers, thinkers and doers to explore near future opportunities arising from technology trends. 1000 participants from over 30 countries explore the future and turn innovation into opportunities.

The program of the conference is now complete. Speakers added recently include:

• Arnaud Bertrand - Founder & CEO of HouseTrip, first-line fighter against the sharing economy backlash
• Bracken Darrell - CEO and president reinventing Logitech
• Joel Serra - Eatwith.com Country Manager for Spain, changing the way people travel and eat

Röstigraben Express registrations are open
For the third consecutive year, Lift participants get to ride the Röstigraben Express from Zürich to Geneva. The Röstigraben-Express is an exclusive train coach running from Zurich to Geneva on Wednesday 5 Feb. It leaves Zurich at 09:32. You can also hop on from Bern at 10:34, Fribourg at 10:56 and Lausanne at 11:42. You'll arrive at the conference venue just in time for Lift14's opening session.

Special START-UP event : Bilan "50 startups in which to Invest"
On Wednesday 5th February, Swiss economy magazine Bilan and Lift will co-host the special event to launch the 2014 edition of "50 startups in which to invest". It will showcase the most promising Swiss startups looking for investment. The event will feature a selection of startup pitches, a talk about the Swiss entrepreneurs scene from Alain Nicod and a "Bilan-QoQa startup surprise project" with Pascal Meyer from QoQa, and Stéphane Benoît-Godet from Bilan.

SeedstarsWorld Final: Network with investors and entrepreneurs from around the world
Seedstars World (SSW) is a worldwide startup competition in emerging markets and fast growing startup scenes. The SSW team travelled to 20 different countries in 2013 to bring back to Switzerland on February 4th 2014 the best entrepreneurs for a grand final and conference open to the public. More than one thousand startups applied, but only one will win an equity investment of up to $500k.
