Amazers wins EUR2500 in Portugal

Amazers has won the Beta-start acceleration program of Beta-i, an incubator based in Lisbon. With the first prize came a cash award of EUR2'500.

Amazers aims to spread inspiration by presenting stories of people who aspire to inspire and are referred to as “Amazers”.The philosophy of the start-up is to only feature individuals who wish to be a part of the network, are passionate about the idea of the project, and share the vision of the founders. Through the profiles of the Amazers, the platform strives to deliver empowering insights and messages to its audience. Amazers was founded by Fabio Carlucci, Danilo S. Carlucci and Gabriel G. Lescinskas.

During November and December the team participated in the Beta-start acceleration program of Beta-i. Beta-start is a technical and human training program. developed by Beta-i,  adopting    proven successful methodologies to accelerate this path. The program creates a structured path from idea to value proposition, through   prototyping, defining revenue lines, and creating an action plan for the months following   the program. The 50+ hours of program activities are divided in workshops, led by trainers and mentoring with seasoned entrepreneurs and coaches who help participants throughout the program. In addition there are networking opportunities, inspirational talks and team-building activities.

The best start-up of the program wins a cash award of EUR2’500. At the last edition Amazers was selected. After the end of the program the team returned to Saanen for the next couple of weeks where they will digest all the learnings of the last three months and prepare the introduction of new ideas in early 2014.
