Eight early stage startups offering solutions in the life science and digital health sectors have been selected to participate in the third edition of the Israeli-Swiss Lean Launchpad Program. Starting in October, the startups will explore the Israel startup scene in search for business and growth opportunities for their companies.

The hybrid 10-week Swiss-Israel Lean Launchpad programme enables startups to explore the Israeli digital health sector as well as the culture and inner workings of the Israeli startup ecosystem. The programme is tailor-made for the needs of each participating startup. Participants will meet Israeli industry leaders, medical institutions and university representatives as well as entrepreneurs. Group sessions provide first-hand insight into the toolbox of Israeli entrepreneurs, including business model design, pivoting, marketing, storytelling, pitching and more. In addition, the programme includes personal mentoring sessions. The Israeli-Swiss Lean Launchpad Program is organised by the innovation team at the Embassy of Switzerland in Israel and Israeli innovation consultants on behalf of Innosuisse.

Eight startups with an active Innosuisse coaching voucher have been selected to participate in the upcoming edition, which starts with an online session in October 2022. They will attend two in-person parts: a 2-day workshop in November and a week-long visit to Israel in early December 2022.

Ai Medical – is developing a next generation AI-based medical software for image analysis of magnetic resonance imaging follow-ups for diseases such as multiple sclerosis or brain metastasis. It integrates deep learning methods to automate most tedious tasks, such as lesion annotation, anatomical lesion position detection, lesion volume measurement, and report generation.

aiEndoscopic - combines artificial intelligence with robotic endoscopy to develop intuBot, the first assistive device that actively supports users in the skill-based task of tracheal intubation.

Bionter – is dedicated to becoming a world-class provider of particle counters tailored to pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Its product EVE counts sub-visible particles with a non-destructive measurement approach and offers a smart automation workflow.

iSleep –  is developing a simple, automated and interactive device for sleep tracking that uses eye parameters for researchers and clinicians. The iSleep system includes a wearable goggle integrated with the detection algorithms/software and is controlled through a digital interface.

Lighthouse Tech – developed LTH01, a wearable Mobility Device for the blind and the visually impaired. The sensors in the eyewear frame help to detect obstacles and provide smart alerts through soft vibration on the white cane.

MUVON Therapeutics  – introduced autologous cell therapy for the treatment of damaged skeletal muscles in patients with Stress Urinary Incontinence, using the patient's own muscle precursor cells (MPC).

NextImmune – is creating a new generation of immunosuppressive drugs for autoimmune diseases and Organ Transplantation without the usual complications.
