Investiere has launched a platform to enable private and institutional investors to conduct the entire investment process online. This includes the digital signing of the final investment contracts for all financing rounds.

The investment process of venture capital firms has remained unchanged and classic, characterised by face-to-face meetings, tons of paperwork arising from printing and scanning term sheets or non-disclosure agreements and several manual processes.

Investiere, the venture capital firm offering private and institutional investors direct access to startup investments, has now taken a step forward and launched a fully digital investment process. In addition to providing company profiles, the platform enables investors to evaluate and make investment decisions paperlessly.

With the launch of the new platform, investiere has eliminated the need to sign paper-based term sheets; instead, investors will now have the chance to reserve a spot in rounds and participate with a click of a button. The term sheets and full due diligence documentation for a given series will be provided on the platform. To close the deal, investors and entrepreneurs will sign all relevant contracts digitally, with legally valid digital signatures.

Investor meetings live on video

For a while now investier has offered recordings of all investor meetings. With current measures in place to combat the coronavirus, the organisation has moved to a fully digital investor meeting and will offer videoconferencing for each meeting.
