Founder Institute Switzerland presents newest Alumni

Out of over 220 applications submitted for the Founder Institute Switzerland program, only six made it through the Spring 2021 program. The selected teams offer solutions ranging from consulting to match matching services for various industries, including food, robotics, travel and fintech.

Founder Institute (FI) is the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator that helps aspiring entrepreneurs, solo entrepreneurs, and small teams get traction and funding. This is achieved by establishing a critical support network of local startup experts and providing a structured and challenging business-building process. FI has helped launch over 5,000 companies across 200+ cities and six continents, and its alumni have raised over $1 billion.

The Switzerland chapter has also been picking up speed. The accelerator received over 220 applications for the spring 2021 program. After four months of intense business-building sprints and constant evaluation and feedback from investors and mentors, only six companies made it through. Each Founder demonstrated a high level of perseverance and creativity, and their businesses have been thoroughly vetted and supported by a panel of Switzerland’s top startup experts and investors.

The following startups make up the spring 2021 alumni

Foodanza – provides expert consulting and strategic solutions to help clients thrive in the plant-based food industry. Its founders Emil Virag and Asaf Cohen Joanthan, bring more than 4o years of combined experience in the supply chain, manufacturing, and R&D expertise fields.

Gainwise – is creating a new and independent marketplace for community-based investing to investing just as exciting as social media by introducing ratings, referrals and sharing.

Guideling – developed ‘Your Label’, a tailor-made platform offering digital solutions to brands and customers. With over 2000 partners, Guidling is active in 10 countries across 30 cities.

Hoursec Enhancement Computing – reduces in 3000 percent the energy requirements for Deep Neural Network models training and inference requirements, and therefore guarantees the reduction in data storage and movement for data analysis.

KAPSLY – connects startups and entrepreneurs to service providers through its revamped Service-for-Equity approach. While startups get the chance t to bring their business to the next level to make it investible or revenue-generating, service providers collaborate on exciting projects and benefit from real value creation.

VERTLINER – is a field robotics company developing autonomous robotic systems for the precise indoor assessment of building assets.

Registration open for FI Switzerland Fall Virtual 2021
The final admissions deadline for the Switzerland Fall Virtual 2021 program is Oct 17, 2021. Candidates that apply by the early admissions deadline on Jul 18, 2021 will be invited to take the Entrepreneur DNA Assessment for free. More information at FI Switzerland.
