The latest list of Forbes 30Under30 2020 for Germany, Austria and Switzerland consists of 90 personalities among which 15 are founders of technology start-ups in Switzerland.

This year’s Forbes 30under30 DACH features 90 outstanding young people from Germany, Austria and Switzerland who demonstrate the power of entrepreneurial thinking and innovative ideas to solve our problems. From over 1,500 nominations and with the help of a top-class jury, the Forbes team selected 30 listmakers per country. Among them are start-up founders and VC investors, activists and publicists, e-sports stars and tennis professionals.

From Switzerland, there are 15 start-up founders and these are:

Liliane Ableitner & Anselma Wörner, Exnaton
The female duo has developed the software PowerQuartier which empowers energy providers to set up energy communities in their distribution areas to facilitates local peer-to-peer renewable energy transactions.

Florian Fallegger, Neurosoft
The medtech start-up develops implantable medical devices to interface with the brain and spinal cord to treat patients suffering from neurological disorders. It is the only company to date able to combine incredibly soft materials that match the mechanical properties of the nervous tissues with high-density electrodes.

Sandro Cilurzo, Sedimentum
At Sedimentum, Sandro and his team are developing the first contactless solution for real-time anomaly and emergency detection in the healthcare industry without compromising privacy.

Karim Saleh, Unicorn labs
Unicorn Labs is a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping businesses to transform their ideas into a working prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) for market and technology validation.

Ketevani Zaridze, Logmind
Logmind’s software platform helps companies automatically diagnose and troubleshoot problems from their complex IT infrastructure.

Céline Spillmann, Casus Technologies
With her LegalTech start-up, Spillmann and her team of eight employees aim to make it easier for SMEs to access legal advice and legal services. Individual partner firms and test companies are already using the service.

Oliver Girstmair, Bravo technologies
Using a digital procurement platform, Bravo connects restaurants directly with wholesalers enabling them to buy all the necessary groceries digitally online via an app. The start-up has already acquired 100 companies as customers in the first six months. During the COVID-19 crisis, Bravo cooperated with the Swiss food giant Nestlé to combat food waste.

Alessandro Ofner, Microcaps
Together with his team, Microcaps developed and patented a technology that allows for controlling the size of microcapsules to ensure that they all behave exactly the same.

Fabian Hedinger & Andrej Majcen Bitcoin Suisse AG
Early this year the team received CHF 45 million in their series A funding round to facilitate growth. As a pioneer in the crypto-financial services market, the company offers prime brokerage, trading, custody, lending, staking and other crypto-financial services for private and institutional clients.

Judith Wemmer, Lead Product Development & Process Innovation,
Planted Foods AG
The team manufactures and commercialises plant-based meat products whose taste is indistinguishable from real meat. The aim is to provide sustainable, healthy and cruelty-free products. The company’s first product is Planted chicken.

Fabian Walter, Unisers
At his start-up, Fabian and his team have developed a device to identify and quantify contaminants in liquids using its nanotechnology and Raman spectroscopy based system.

Adrian Boss & Lea Miggiano, Carvolution
Unlike car sharing car-sharing services, Carvolution offers cars in subscription models as an alternative to traditional car ownership or leasing contracts. With a team of 40 employees and venture capital of 11 million CHF, Carvolution was able to more than double its turnover in March 2020 compared to the previous year.
