Both Komed Health and Nexthink are developing platforms to foster better communication in their designated industries while ID Quantique focuses on quantum technology. The three companies have welcomed experienced and seasoned leaders to the top management and their board to accelerate growth and development.

Nexthink has hired a new experienced CTO and has strengthend the board with three new member including a new chairman. Nexthink is a global leader in Digital Employee Experience whose products allow enterprises to create highly productive digital workplaces for their employees by delivering the optimal end-user experience. Through a unique combination of real-time analytics, automation and employee feedback across all endpoints, Nexthink helps IT teams to meet the needs of the modern digital workplace.

Vedant Sampath takes over the position of CTO to support Nexthink's engineering team and drive the company’s ongoing Cloud transformation. Vedant Sampath was most recently CTO at Mediaocean where he spent over seven years building one of the most powerful and mission-critical AdTech platforms in the world, managing more than $140 billion in annual advertising media spend. 

The newly appointed board members are Patrick Morley, senior vice president and general manager of VMware’s Security Business Unit. Prior to his current role, Patrick led Carbon Black as CEO from niche start-up in 2007 into an endpoint security leader. As CEO, Patrick led Carbon Black through several major milestones including a merger with Bit9, three acquisitions, a company transition to a SaaS model, a successful IPO on NASDAQ (in 2018) and, most recently, a sale to VMware for an enterprise value of $2.1 billion.

Next to Morley is René Bonvanie, EVP of Strategic Accounts for Palo Alto Networks who was previously the company’s Chief Marketing Officer for a decade. René joined Palo Alto Networks in 2009 and has seen the company grow to revenue of nearly $3 Billion and acquire approximately 67,000 end-customers in more than 150 countries.

Nexthink appointed its long-time advisor Jimmy Anidjar who has been playing an important role in the growth of the company to head the board of directors. Anidjar brings more than 30 years of experience in the IT sector and other industries, having held top executive positions at Oracle, SAP, ALTAVIA, Air France, Unisys and KPN, managing businesses from 25 to 13,000 employees and from $2 million to several billion in revenue.

Komed Health developed a secure and powerful real-time communication platform for hospitals to facilitate communication and collaboration in care teams. The platform allows healthcare providers to become more productive, increase patient satisfaction while allowing them to use their infrastructure efficiently.

The startup has recently welcomed George Hadjiyiannis to the management team to support the company's transformation and lead the engineering team. His strong track record of successfully building software in large globally distributed technology organizations, coupled with his start-up experience, makes him a great fit to lead the next phase of Komed's technology turnaround. 

New Executive Vice president at ID Quantique
ID Quantique (IDQ), a spin-off of the Group of Applied Physics of the University of Geneva, is a provider of quantum-safe crypto solutions, designed to protect data for the future. The company provides quantum-safe network encryption, secure quantum key generation and Quantum Key Distribution solutions and services to the financial industry, enterprises and government organisations globally.

The company has appointed Axel Foery as Executive Vice President for the Quantum-Safe Security division. Foery started his career in the telecommunications market working for Deutsche Telekom, Nokia and later Cisco where he built the IP infrastructure we everyday use. During 16 years at Cisco, he successfully held leadership roles throughout Europe and was responsible for the launch of new technologies and go-to-market approaches for major global markets and verticals.
