35 startups spread out on the first Swiss Cybersecurity map

Today the first Swiss Cyber Security Days have been launched in Fribourg. "Can Switzerland become a leader in cyber defence innovations", is one of the questions that have been discussed at the event. The first Swiss Cyber Security Map suggests that the answer is "yes".

As digital technologies become even more prevalent, one major concern remains security. DataStore presents the first CyberSecurity map of 35 Swiss startups and innovators that are addressing security issues in eight different categories.

DataStore, a data specialist offering data services and consulting, presents a market overview of Swiss cybersecurity technology start-ups in Switzerland every quarter.

For the first quarter, the team has launched the first Cybersecurity map comprising of 35 Swiss startups and innovators. The selected starts are less than ten years old and have technology innovations in the fields of Cybersecurity.

The startups are categorized into eight categories. These include;

  • Compliance & Awareness

  • Security Analytic

  • Security Automation

  • Cloud Security

  • Identity & Access Management

  • Endpoint Protection & Mobility

  • Resilience & Data Protection

  • Blockchain

While the category cloud security only has one startup, Cetraya, other categories have more representation. For instance, the security and cloud automation (10), Identity and Access management (8), Security Analytics (8) and Endpoint Protection & Mobility (7). Only five technologies are in Compliance and Awareness and four in Resilience and protection as well as in Blockchain.
