Swiss startup winners

Yesterday, F10 Switzerland held a hybrid graduation ceremony for its cohort comprising 14 pre-seed and seed startups from 9 countries. Six startups each took home an investment cheque of CHF 150’000.

The F10 Incubation program has screened more than 10000 applications and supported 200 startups since 2015, which have raised over USD 200 million in investment. Building on this success, the program continues to serve as a grooming ground for early-stage startups seeking to develop innovative solutions for the fintech sector.

The program committee yesterday concluded its seventh edition that started on June 14th with a cohort of 14 startups selected from 385 applications. Supported by experienced coaches, the teams worked on their ideas to validate and advance their ventures. The program additionally opened gates to mentors, experts and investors from the F10 startup ecosystem. During the graduation ceremony, the startups took the stage to pitch their solutions to the virtual and physical audience. The six most outstanding startups each won an investment of CHF 150’000 through the F10 Investment AG corporate partners, SIX Group and the House of Insurtech Switzerland (HITS). Three of the winners come from Switzerland.

These are:

Mympact (Zurich) – is a sustainable bank account that helps people to track, reduce, and engage on their impact to become carbon neutral. The mympact app connects with users’ bank accounts to provide them with a CO2 footprint of all their purchases in real-time. With personalised recommendations and sustainable alternatives, the solution empowers users to reduce their emissions.

Buyogo (St. Gallen) – to help SMEs thrive in the digital era, Buyogo radically improves the service portfolio of B2B SMEs. The startup provides an all-in-one software that connects existing and new sales channels with ERP, CRM and accounting systems in a unified interface, enabling multichannel commerce combined with embedded finance.

TrueLedger (Zurich) – Aiming to connect buyers and vendors via smart contracting, TrueLeger built a platform to increase commitment and optimise the collaboration of both parties. The platform allows for transparency and real-time information monitoring and sharing.

Warrify (Austria) – transforming the paper receipt into a digital customer touchpoint, allowing retailers to interact with their customers through the receipt even after the purchase.

CryptoIndexSeries (Turkey) –provides AI-driven, institutional-grade data, analytics and trading tools for Crypto Markets.

BloX.move (Germany) –is reinventing mobility by providing a seamless global mobility alliance from taxis and city bikes to trains and spaceships.

MyImpact and Weave.ai, a US-based company that uses advanced AI to automatically and transparently analyse and benchmark ESG disclosures and performance, also took home prizes for winning the audience award.

First Acceleration batch results in six partnerships
Parallel to the incubation program, the first batch of F10’s new Acceleration program focused on collaboration between the 12 selected growth-stage startups and the F10 Corporate Partners also ended after 3 months. Multiple collaborations were established. Several departments within SIX Group are looking at a collaboration with Deedster (Sweden) to provide additional value to Swiss banks on its Open Finance platform bLink. SIX will evaluate Deedster’s carbon footprint calculator for banks to empower their retail banking clients with actionable sustainability insights on their spending behaviour. HITS/Generali have already entered into an agreement and are running prototypes with Neuroprofiler (Spain batch) and Konfuzio (Germany, Helm & Nagel) with the involvement of the respective business representatives.
