Fileder filtration
Droople’s collaboration with Fileder, one of the UK's largest process filtration and water treatment product suppliers, is proving successful and yielding revenues. In another Smart water use-case, the Swiss startup has started a promising collaboration with Vebego in facility management services.

One use-case at a time, Droople’s innovative vision is showing its worth with revenues to match. Fileder Filter Systems Ltd, is one of the largest process filtration and water treatment suppliers in the UK, globally distributing to their large network of customers and industries (breweries, cosmetics, etc.). Taking their fleet to a new level, Fileder entered a pilot project with Droople’s Smart Filtration solution using data analytics to implement real-time process control. This transition is set to maximize the lifetime of filter equipment, offer transparency to customers with usage-based filter replacement, and offer automated product shipping.

“Using the Droople Water Intelligence Solution allows us to fully monitor our filter fleet remotely. Moreover, the user-friendly platform interface provides a range of other useful data, allowing us to know exactly when every filter must be exchanged and replaced in timely manner, avoiding any downtime. It also provides full transparency for our customers. This pilot demonstrates the potential of adapting digital monitoring solutions in order to transform the way filtration services are provided, raising the bar to unimaginable levels.” Martin Ede, Managing Director at Fileder Filter Systems Ltd

Speaking of Fileder Pilot, Droople’s CEO & founder Ramzi Bouzerda adds: “the use-case here is not only the monitoring and predictive maintenance of filtration systems but also the entire supply chain automation of consumables related to these systems. Thanks to Droople, Fileder will be able to reduce its maintenance costs (100% reduction of unscheduled interventions) with an increase in consumable sales because of the better knowledge. They can now connect Droople to their ERP and automate the procurement process, thus reducing supply chain and procurement costs. We are talking about a volume of 500-1000 units per year (300K CHF ARR) to start with projections of several thousand in 2-3 years.”

Smart Water in Facility Services

In another pilot, Droople is collaborating with Vebego since March 2021. The global facility management player based in the Netherlands is present on three continents. The use case here is on how water consumption at the point of use can be used thanks to IoT and machine learning to optimize cleaning plans (up to 50% reduction in operating expenses) while preserving water and energy resources by being able to locate (per point of use) anomalies such as leaks and blocked flushes for example.

The innovation lies in the fact that through an intelligence / sensor mesh, Droople is able to correlate usage events, affluence and therefore determine from which threshold a sanitary space is considered "dirty" or "clean" while preserving data protection (technical data related to usage cycles, consumption, duration, anonymous temporal data series, etc …). Today, no robot would be able to determine what is dirty or clean even with a camera and artificial intelligence, according to Mr. Thorsten Michels, Resp. quoted in the article.
