With its software, Viselio digitalized and simplified the application process for Russian, Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese visas. Now the Bern-based startup announced the opening of two branch offices in Paris and London while adding 67 new destinations to its visa portfolio.

Applying for a visa can be a lengthy process, sometimes even including a visit to the respective country’s consulate or embassy. Viselio’s online services reduce the application process to seven minutes, with the visa usually being sent to the costumer’s postal address within a few days.

Now, the Bern-based startup announced that it has expanded to France and the United Kingdom. Only two years after the startup's incorporation in Bern, Viselio now has branch offices in Belgrade, Vienna, Berlin, Paris and London. The startup already has plans to expand to four more European markets in the first quarter of 2019.

In addition to its geographical expansion, the startup also expanded its visa portfolio. Until recently, Viselio’s costumers could only apply for visas to China, Russia, India and Vietnam. Now Swiss, French, German, British and Austrian residents are able to apply for visas to an additional 67 countries such as Myanmar, Nepal, Rwanda or Thailand. «Thanks to the extension of our destination portfolio, we can now offer our trade partners and customers a wide-ranging coverage and thus have become a one-stop-shop for visas», says Niklas Zeller, CEO and Co-founder of Viselio.
