The newly launched startup program acts as a springboard for early-stage startups to launch their projects and collaborate with Bühler, a Swiss family-owned business with over 12,500 employees in 140 countries, and a turnover of CHF 2.7 billion. Registration is open until 25 August.

The CUBIC Innovation campus by Bühler offers a platform to accelerate new ideas and innovation. Besides access to its eight application centers where innovators can test new processes and products, the production facilities for food, feed and advanced materials, and its research and development infrastructure Bühler offers a broad network comprising industry experts, partners customers and universities.

As part of its pilot CUBIC Start Hub Program, which is held from 1 October at its headquarters in Uzwil, Bühler is offering a three months program to support early-stage startups in taking their ventures to the next level. During that period, selected teams will work with experts to solidify their use cases. After three months, the teams will pitch their use cases to the management. If there is a fit, the start-up gets the chance to implement their use case in a pilot project.

According to Marcello Fabbroni, Director Innovation Center, the Start Hub program opens doors for early-stage startups. Participating in the program will enable them to validate their ideas and helping them in taking the first step to realising them.

The edition is now open for application until August 25, 2021. Eligible to apply are early-stage startups from Switzerland and abroad with an idea/ solution that could be relevant for any of the fields within Bühler. The selection committee requires applicants to bring with them one to three possible use cases they would like to work out with Bühler.
